GALATIA
Definition
In New Testament times, a Roman province in central Asia Minor, inhabited by Celts from the upper Rhine, who had settled there in the third century B.C. Important New Testament cities of this province were Derbe, Antioch of Pisidia, Iconium, and Lystra.
